The beautiful ATHENS rug is hand-woven in a kilim style and comes in delicate colors that can be wonderfully layered and combined with a wide variety of interior styles. The pattern is slightly playful yet very elegant. The recycled PET yarn is particularly robust, while at the same time our rugs are surprisingly soft and have a wool-like feel.

As our products are handmade, slight variations in color and size are possible. The rugs are GoodWeave certified to combat child labor in the textile industry. The license fees are used to fund social and educational programs in India and Nepal.

Hand-woven from sustainable materials such as recycled cotton, recycled PET bottles, jute, or organic cotton. You can find the exact material specifications in the product description.

Many of our cotton and PET rugs are washable. Please follow the care instructions on the label. Vacuum jute and wool rugs regularly and only spot-clean stains.

Our rugs are GoodWeave certified – for fair working conditions and against child labor. Organic cotton rugs are dyed with OEKO-TEX® certified colors.
