LACIS Indoor/outdoor rug, 70x140cm

This rug is not only particularly beautiful and sustainable because it is made from recycled PET bottles, but also,
because it is the result of a very special collaboration with the MBRC the Ocean Foundation.
The MBRC the Ocean Foundation is a 100% non-profit organization whose goal is to free the oceans from 
plastic waste. To achieve this, MBRC organizes clean-up events worldwide and operates permanent cleaning stations 
together with volunteers and local communities.
Our rugs and runners made from recycled plastic are characterized by a pleasant feel, 
reminiscent of wool. They are robust, easy to care for, and very durable. The plastic fiber is largely dirt- and water-repellent, 
which makes the rug also suitable for outdoor use or areas prone to spills.

    Care: The rug can be machine-washed at a maximum of 30°C.

Because our products are handmade, slight variations in color and size are possible.
All our rugs are produced fairly and bear the GoodWeave seal of approval against exploitative child labor and for compliance 
with minimum social and environmental standards. The license fees help fund social and educational programs in India and Nepal, among other initiatives.
