Glamping

Getting up with the rising sun, the chirping of the birds, the rustling of the leaves on the trees in the wind. Sunset, campfire. A time for listening and enjoying.

Enjoying

For some people, that word ends where camping begins. Because the idea of primitive places to stay may kill the vibe directly. But wanting to relax outside does not necessarily mean that you must compromise on comfort. Maybe we have a solution to bring you closer to nature again: glamping.

What is glamping?

The word glamping is the shortened form of the words “glamorous camping”. You combine the comfort of a living room with the romance of an outdoor holiday. Camping without having to sleep in a tent, so to speak.

Glamping means we can set it up outside. Make nature homely for us, playfully stage it with fairy lights and decorations or simply make it cozy so that it meets our needs for comfort.

With carpets, pillows, lights in the trees, a comfortable bed: Being outside doesn’t have to mean having to live spartanly if you don’t want to. It doesn’t take much to make yourself very comfortable outside. Cushions on fixed chairs instead of uncomfortable shaky camping chairs, for example, can make a huge difference. A large canvas so you don’t have to be exposed to the midday sun and a beautiful, soft rug if you don’t want to feel the grass under your feet all the time.

Glamping is something for all ages, it appeals to many people. Although glamping is a relatively new form of vacation, it has already found many enthusiasts and has even gained a foothold in the tourism industry. Glamping is also becoming increasingly popular at festivals. At many festivals you can now choose whether you want to sleep on a camping site or at a glamping area.

Especially in the lockdown and during the entire Covid period, many people have spent more time in nature and learned to appreciate it. The peace and harmony have given many people something back that they missed. For some people, it wasn’t bad at all that the stressful everyday life and the many leisure opportunities stood still for a short moment and that one had to look for alternative pastimes. Many of us have used the time to make their garden beautiful and arrange their terrace or balcony.

In the meantime, normal everyday life has regained the upper hand for most people. There is not much time to linger, rest and enjoy nature, especially if you live in the city. That’s why you should make it as nice as possible if you find the time for it.

If you are someone who enjoys the well-being in nature, then ask yourself what you could do to spend even more time in it!
